Set in a misty Malnad village, the film revolves around a mother waiting for her son, who has been missing for 25 years. Her grief is not loud but constant, flowing through the village and into the hearts of the audience.

Then arrives a young stranger in search of that very son, setting off ripples in an otherwise quiet world.

Shanmukha Govindaraj, in his debut, as Achanna, enters with quiet promise, while Sangeetha Anil, as Varalakshmi, the grieving mother, brings depth to the role, even if a touch too subdued at times.
