Indore woman who went missing on honeymoon in Meghalaya held for husband's murder

- ANURAAG SINGH @ Bhopal

A six-hour-long telephonic conversation between Sonam Raghuvanshi and her plywood firm's employee-cum alleged friend on a single night, her eagerness to finalize a honeymoon trip to Meghalaya and her pressure on her husband Raja Raghuvanshi to wear jewellery on the trip reportedly guided investigators to focus on Kushwah and her as key suspects in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case.

A joint operation by the Meghalaya police and their Madhya Pradesh counterparts in Indore, which spanned approximately ten hours, resulted in the arrest of Kushwah (21) and his two henchmen from Indore (MP) and Lalitpur (UP) between 7 pm on Sunday and 5 am on Monday.

It started with the arrest of Akash Rajput (19) from Lalitpur district. He was brought to Indore by late Sunday evening, after which the joint operation led to the arrest of prime suspect Kushwah and other key henchmen, including Vishal Chauhan (22), from Indore's Nandbag area.
