IN a landmark decision, the State government has announced that visually impaired students will now have equal access to pursue Intermediate courses in Science streams (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics) alongside their peers, starting from the academic year 2025-26.
This move aligns with the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and builds on earlier orders issued in G.O. Ms. No. 12, dated March 4, 2022.
