L&T Net Profit Jumps 30% to ₹3,617 Crore

ENGINEERING and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday reported a street-beating growth in consolidated net profit at ₹3,617 crore in the June quarter, up 30% year-on-year, as its revenue improved 15.5% to ₹63,679 crore.
It said the order inflow for the quarter stood at ₹94,453 crore, a growth of 33% YoY, driven by strong order momentum from the Middle East. International orders stood at ₹48,675 crore, up from ₹32,598 crore. Global orders constituted 52% of total orders.
