Liquor scam case a sham to shield Naidu: Jagan

LAUNCHING a tirade against the TDP-led NDA government alleging failure in governance and vindictive politics targeting YSRCP leaders in the name of 'Red Book', former Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came down heavily on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for foisting false cases to weaken the liquor case in which he is on bail.
Speaking to media at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli on Thursday, Jagan said the liquor policy implemented during his regime (2019-24) was in the interest of the State, and the cases now being filed in the name of alleged liquor scam are a sham and fabricated only to nullify and weaken the liquor case in which Naidu is on bail.
