UP is same but perception has completely changed: Yogi

GOOD governance coupled with fast-paced and robust economic growth has come to characterise Uttar Pradesh in the last eight years, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed on Monday. Providing an account of the state's governance with him at the helm, Yogi attributed the progress to collective efforts of 25 crore UP residents under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi.
Uttar Pradesh is on a path of transformation from a 'Shram Shakti Punj' (labour force) to an 'Arth Shakti Punj' (economic force) of India. "The state is the same, but the perception has completely changed in the past eight years," Yogi said.
Flanked by both Deputy CMs Keshav Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and other cabinet colleagues, Yogi said the nation is recognising Uttar Pradesh's emerging identity as a safe, well-governed, and prosperous state where Sanatan culture is celebrated. "Uttar Pradesh, which was tagged a "bimaru" (ill) state, has emerged as the growth driving force of Indian economy," Yogi asserted.
