Over two decades, the IAWRT festival has fostered a vibrant community around feminist filmmaking and collective viewing cultures. The 21st edition begins this weekend at IIC.

INCE its inception in 2005, the Asian Women's Film Festival has grown into an important space where women filmmakers from across Asia and beyond share their work, build dialogue, and engage with audiences. The International Association of Women in Radio and Television (IAWRT) — the India Chapter will present the 21st Asian Women's Film Festival (AWFF) from March 13-15 at the India International Centre (IIC), continuing one of Asia's longest-running platforms dedicated to celebrating women's voices in cinema.
Aparna Sanyal, managing trustee, IAWRT India, said: "For more than two decades, the Asian Women's Film Festival has created a space where women filmmakers from across Asia can share their stories and engage in meaningful dialogue with audiences."
