Super 100 helps disadvantaged girls pursue careers in science

AN innovative initiative under the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' scheme is empowering girl students from the most disadvantaged tribal and coastal areas to break free from generational poverty through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.
Named Super 100, this programme is inspired by the Super 30 educational model created by Patna-based Anand Kumar. This endeavour is spearheaded by the Thiruvananthapuram District Administration in collaboration with Kanal Innovations Charitable Trust.
The programme aims to ignite a passion for science in these students and unveil career opportunities that have previously been out of reach due to their disadvantaged backgrounds. For these young women, science represents a beacon of hope for overcoming societal barriers.
