SC relies on ocular proof over med records, upholds Pocso conviction

THE Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the conviction of a man found guilty of aggravated sexual assault on a four-year-old girl, holding that the consistent testimony of the child’s parents was enough to sustain the verdict even in the absence of medical evidence or eyewitnesses.
