Raj interim budget: 70k jobs, pensions increased

RAJASTHAN interim budget, presented by Deputy CM and Finance Minister Diya Kumari on Thursday, echoed the call of the impending Lok Sabha elections. This time, the budget boasts a plethora of sops and announcements setting a new precedent for Rajasthan.

Under CM Bhajanlal Sharma, six significant schemes have been introduced in the interim budget which strategically target key voter demographics. The state is actively streamlining government recruitment processes, particularly in vital sectors like education, healthcare, and law enforcement. Finance Minister Diya Kumari assured of 70,000 new posts for youth and employment recruitment.

Adani Group's gross debt increases to ₹3.36L cr, cash balance up at ₹57k cr
ADANI Group said on Monday that it had a cash balance of ₹57,157 crore at the end of September 2025. This is about 17% of its gross debt which now has grown to ₹3.36 lakh crore. The port-to-power conglomerate’s gross debt stood at ₹290,409 crore at the end of financial year 2024-25 on a cash balance of ₹53,843 crore.
