PM returns to Ayodhya for flag hoisting in Ram temple

PREPARATIONS for Dhwajaarohan (flag hoisting) ceremony on the Ram temple’s spire reaching their culmination with Prime Minister Narendra Modi ready to return to the temple town after 22 months of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in the sanctum sanctorum which he presided over on January 22, 2024.
The PM will hoist the saffron flag, the Dharm Dhwaja, atop the temple spire to mark its formal completion on Tuesday. The right-angled triangular flag, measuring 11 feet in height and 22 feet in length, bears the image of a radiant Sun symbolising the brilliance and valour of Lord Rama, with an ‘Om’ inscribed on it along with the image of Kovidara tree.
