PM Narendra Modi made a special mention of the Maoist-affected Gumla district of Jharkhand in 'Mann Ki Baat', where he shared an inspirational story of a youth who left the path of extremism and joined the mainstream by adopting fish farming for livelihood.
Notably, the story of this youth, Om Prakash Sahu, was covered by this newspaper in its July 6 edition.
