The Morning Standard
|May 28, 2025
THE International Film City, a brainchild of UP CM Yogi Adityanath, may soon become a reality as renowned film producer Boney Kapoor's company, Bayview Projects LLP, has submitted to the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) a detailed layout plan for the project.

YEIDA will now review the plan. Once it is okayed, construction work will kick off.
Planned as north India's largest film city, the mega project will be developed over 1,000 acres in Sector-21 of Greater Noida, along the Yamuna Expressway. It will be developed in three phases over the next eight years. The first phase will span 230 acres, with an estimated investment of ₹1,510 crore. Core infrastructure such as film studios, sound stages, post-production units, and a film institute will come up in the first 155 acres.
