Nainital HC nod to panchayat polls, seeks govt reply on quota

THE Nainital High Court on Friday lifted its stay on panchayat elections in Uttarakhand, paving the way for the polls.
The court, however, directed the state government to respond to PILs alleging irregularities in the reservation roster for the elections.
