Man accused of rape pours acid on survivor's daughter, dies

A 17-year-old girl, the daughter of a rape survivor, was attacked with acid by a 54-year-old man in central Delhi's Anand Parbat area on Thursday as he allegedly asked the girl to convince her mother to withdraw the rape case against him.

The accused, identified by cops as Prem Singh, poured acid on the girl and consumed some of it himself, leading to his death at a hospital.
