Maliwal case: CM's aide moves SC over denial of bail

DELHI Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's close aide Bibhav Kumar, accused of assaulting AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, approached the Supreme Court on Thursday challenging the Delhi High Court's decision to reject his bail.
The plea will likely come up for hearing in three to four days. While rejecting the bail on July 12, the high court stated that the mobile phone seized from Kumar was formatted prior to seizure, indicating an effort to conceal some vital evidence.
