'In name of raid, ED sleuths just sat in CM's PA room'

A day after accusing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of deleting audios of statements, the AAP senior leader and Cabinet Minister Atishi on Wednesday alleged that the probe agency officials who raided the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s personal assistant (PA) Bibhav Kumar, sat in the living room of his house and did not even pretend to carry out any searches.

“During the 16-hour raid at residence of CM’s PS, ED officials did not conduct any thorough search, nor did they provide any explanation regarding the purpose/case of the raid. They just sat in his living room. This peculiar raid may be the first of its kind in the history of the ED, where officials carried out a prolonged raid without documenting the specific case or purpose for the action,” she said.
