IMD predicts marginally warmer days after Jan 3

DELHI ushered in the New Year 2025 under dense fog and persistent cold wave conditions, with temperatures plunging across the city.
On Wednesday, January 1, the minimum temperature at Safdarjung was recorded at 7.4°C, while Palam, located on the outskirts, recorded 7°C.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that dense fog will continue in the coming days, severely affecting visibility during early hours. However, some relief from the biting cold is expected after January 3, with forecasts predicting marginally warmer temperatures and improved visibility.
