Kejriwal questions why he was summoned just before Lok Sabha polls, alleges plot to stop his campaign
A day after ignoring the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated on Thursday that he has not been involved in any corruption. He remarked that the ED’s repeated summons in the alleged liquor scam, just before the upcoming Lok Sabha poll, are an attempt to impede his campaigning, despite the ongoing two-year investigation.
Kejriwal underscored that his honesty is his biggest asset, and he believes the BJP aims to tarnish his reputation with fabricated cases. “They have imprisoned many of our leaders through false cases, and now they want to arrest me,” he said.
