Completion cert from civic bodies must for power supply, says HC

JUSTICE Nagesh Bheemapaka of the Telangana High Court ruled that electricity supply to multi-storied buildings cannot be released without the production of an occupancy or completion certificate from municipal authorities.
The order was passed in a writ petition filed by Mohammed Arif Rizwan, who sought a direction to the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) to provide electricity to his property at Himayathnagar without insisting on the certificate.
