Communal amity leads to temple re-consecration

PEOPLE in Muthuvallur, a small village in Malappuram, have woven a heartwarming tale of religious harmony. The region is currently celebrating the re-consecration of Muthuvallur Sree Durga Bhagavathy Temple near Kondotty, which became a reality due to the strong bond that the Hindus and Muslims here share.

The temple underwent extensive renovation, funded by contributions of money and materials from the local populace. A significant portion of this fund was donated by members of the Muslim community in the area.
The temple committee, attributing the successful renovation to the harmonious coexistence of Hindus and Muslims in the area, will be holding a public meeting near the temple on Wednesday. The aim is to showcase before the world how religious harmony facilitated the temple's renovation and fostered deeper bonds between the two communities.
