CAPF exams to be conducted in 13 languages

Around 48L candidates will take the test for constable recruitment from Feb 10 to March 7 in their mother tongue

THE Central government on Sunday announced that the constable recruitment examination for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will be conducted in 13 Indian languages for the first time, apart from in English and Hindi.
The examination is held for recruitments to Central police forces such as the Central Reserve Police Force, Border Security Force and Central Industrial Security Force.
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), in an official statement, said that apart from Hindi and English, the question papers would now be prepared in the regional languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi, Manipuri, Marathi and Konkani.
