Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday kicked up a row by claiming that "the election system in India is already dead".
He alleged that between 70 and 100 seats were suspected to be rigged in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to give the BJP a narrow margin of victory.
Addressing the inaugural function of the Congress legal cell's conclave on 'Constitutional Challenges: Perspectives and Pathways', Gandhi reiterated that his party has proof regarding election rigging, which will be released soon.
