BAPS temple in Abu Dhabi will be a testimony of tolerance: UAE envoy

IT has been nearly two weeks since a BAPS delegation met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi (on December 29), following which he agreed to inaugurate the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi on February 14.

On Thursday, UAE's Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Alshaali, said that they were looking forward to the inauguration next month.
"The day of inauguration of the Swaminarayan temple will be a monumental day to celebrate tolerance and acceptance," said UAE's Ambassador Alshaali, adding that the inauguration is just a few weeks away now.
