Asked to slow down, car driver hits bike-borne cop, drags him on road

A 30-year-old Delhi Police constable, disguised as a civilian to prevent incidents of burglary in the Nangloi area of west Delhi, was killed after he was hit by a rashly driven car that dragged him along with his two-wheeler after the collision for more than 10 metres in early on Sunday.
The deceased cop, identified as Sandeep, had joined the force in 2018 and was currently attached with the Nangloi police station. He is survived by his mother, wife, and a fiveyear-old son.
A purported video of the incident went viral on social media in which the four-wheeler could be seen hitting the constable's scooter and dragging him for several metres.
