56-Yr-Old Clears Class X Exam To Get Job Regularised

Officials had repeatedly turned down the daily wager's application for not being a matriculate. He has been working at the District Superintendent of Education (DSE) Office in Khunti for the last 16 years.

Determined to do something about it, he sat for the Class 10 Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) examination and secured 47.2 percent marks. The results came out on Tuesday.

A resident of Kalamati village under Sadar Block, Oraon always dreamt of completing his education to get a government job. However, poverty shattered his plans.
