2 soldiers hurt in another Doda gunfight

TWO army men were injured in a fresh gunfight with militants in a remote forest area in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district while security personnel killed two infiltrating militants along the Line of Control in border district of Kupwara on Thursday.
Police sources said militants attacked a makeshift army camp in the remote Kastigarh area of Doda. "The militants lobbed grenades and fired from automatic weapons towards the make-shift army camp set up in a school in Jaddan Bata area in Kastigarh in Doda forests at around 2 am. The army men returned the fire and the exchange of gunfire between the two sides continued for half an hour," a police officer said.
