The Mercury
|December 18, 2025
THE National Consumer Commission (NCC) has announced a recall of certain Domestos Lemon and Summer Fresh 750ml cleaning products after a packaging defect was identified that could cause bottles to leak.
According to the NCC, the affected products were manufactured between August and September 2025, and some bottles may have a pinhole at the base, which can lead to spillage and potential skin or surface contact.
"According to Unilever, some bottles may have a pinhole defect at the bottom, which can cause leakage when pressure is applied. This may result in product spillage and potential skin or surface contact," the consumer watchdog.
