HAVING read Z Khan's account of who Israel is, at least in her mind, (The Mercury, October 20), I have to respond in kind.
Let's be very clear: Since Donald Trump’s attempt at a peace deal for Gaza, it comes as no surprise at all that Hamas started causing havoc in the streets by executing their own Gazan people for resisting them.
It goes to show, once again, Mrs Khan, how it is impossible to make a deal with terrorists! I never had any doubt in my mind that this would happen! Quite frankly, I think that most sober-minded people knew what was to follow after Israel had to release scores of convicted criminals back into Gaza in return for a few hostages!
