ZURENAH Smit, accused of killing her husband, 62-year-old Stellenbosch farmer Stefan Smit, and her co-accused will have to decide whether to testify in their defence.
This comes after the Western Cape High Court dismissed the Section 174 discharge application Zurenah and her co-accused Derek Sait had brought.
Zurenah had sought to have the murder charge, along with other charges, dismissed. Sait sought in his application to be discharged in respect of a single count of intimidation listed as count three in the indictment.
