Wissa jets home from Bees camp

BRENTFORD forward Yoane Wissa has left Brentford’s training camp in Portugal as speculation swirls over his future.

The striker, 28, has been courted by Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest so far this summer, as the Bees attempt to keep hold of their star forward.

Wissa turned down new contract talks with the west London club earlier in the window, while the Magpies identified the Congolese attacker as a potential replacement for Callum Wilson.

Brentford have endured a tricky summer after losing head coach Thomas Frank to Spurs, Christian Norgaard to Arsenal and Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United.
