FORMER Sunderland defender Wes Brown, who played at the Stadium of Light from 2011 to 2016, has offered his thoughts on what could be the end of a long road back for his former employers.

Brown, speaking on behalf of Best Betting Sites, was asked about the Sunderland squad and what would happen if they went up he said; “It's tough. If you look at the percentages of the teams that come up, normally they go back down.
“Sometimes, maybe a club really has a good season and we've seen that happen. One team of the three can often do quite well, but normally at least two of the three go down.
