Village pub has new owners

A Northumberland village pub has been sold to a growing hospitality group.

The Angel Inn at Wooler was put up for sale in February, and has been sold off for a £350,000 asking price to Hotels International Ltd, a Longframlington business which owns a number of hotels and pubs around the region.
The company has bought the pub from David and Nicola Lightfoot, who owned it for 25 years, having acquired it in 2000 and opening up in 2002.
