U21s 'miles off' in defeat by Forest

SUNDERLAND U21 lead coach Graeme Murty reflected on the lessons that his side can take from Monday's 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Second-half strikes from Lamin Sillah and Adam Berry condemned Murty's side to back-to-back league defeats.

Murty told safc.com: "We're really disappointed with the overall performance. We were miles off the standards we have set, with and without the ball.

"We allowed our opponents to set the tempo and conditions of the game, and that is really disappointing.
