Time to pass on title of 'Mackem Slayer'!

SHOLA Ameobi has challenged Newcastle United stars to take away his 'Mackem Slayer' title and admits it is time for new chapters of derby history to be written.
Ameobi has seven goals in the Tyne-Wear tussle to his name, with only the great Jackie Milburn managing more.
But he is now eager for somebody else in black and white to take that nickname away from him as Newcastle eye their first win on Wearside since 2011 in the Premier League.
In a week in which Ameobi has travelled with the team to Germany for the 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen, he has watched on as Newcastle continue their education in Europe.
