Teenage trio due in court over alleged murder bid

THREE teenagers have been charged with attempted murder after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed at a park.

Police say the alleged victim suffered serious injuries in the incident, which happened at Herrington Country Park, in Sunderland, on Friday.
The accused, two boys aged 16 and a 15-year-old girl, are due to appear before South Tyneside Magistrates' Court today.
