SUNDERLAND'S loan players were out in force again last weekend. Here's how they got on.

Jenson Seelt

Hamburger SV 0-1 Wolfsburg, Bundesliga

The Dutch defender played a full 90 minutes in what was an important result for Wolfsburg.

On his first start for the club, Seelt kept a clean sheet whilst Adam Daghim's 15th-minute goal ended a run of four straight defeats for Die Wolfe.

The victory means they climb to 12th in Bundesliga.

Alan Browne

Middlesbrough 1-1 Wrexham, Championship

After his man of the match performance against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, Browne was a second-half substitute at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday.

Boro lost ground on current league leaders Coventry City but remain in second place thanks to Hayden Hackney’s header.

Browne made his eighth appearance in a Boro shirt.

Patrick Roberts

Bristol City 1-0 Birmingham City, Championship

The winger played just over an hour of football at Ashton Gate as the Blues were pegged back.

Roberts made his eighth appearance of the season for Birmingham as they sit 15th in the table.
