A POPULAR Northumberland pub dating back to the 1700s is up for sale with new property agents as the owner looks to retire.

The Tankerville Arms in Wooler has been owned and operated by the same family for almost half a century, welcoming locals as well as tourists visiting the surrounding Northumberland National Park and nearby Cheviot Hills.
The business was originally put on the market last year with a £2m price tag - a price that included the owner's cottage and neighbouring holiday cottages.
