Pub open again after six-figure investment made

A POPULAR Northumberland pub has reopened following a six-figure investment, accompanying the launch of the pub’s new menu tomorrow (Tue, Apr 15).

The Leaping Salmon in Berwick, which was once a Wetherspoons pub, was originally converted from an old school house. The pub is popular with holidaymakers and has a strong place in Berwick locals’ hearts with the pub now residing as a go-to spot for a cold pint and a tasty bite to eat.

As part of the renovations, the pub has undergone a full redecoration of the customer area, including comfy new furniture, additional booth seating, a new upgraded terrace and a huge improvement in all audio-visual aspects, with a new 86-inch HD TV taking centre stage.
