Pope wants to stay on Tyneside to play his part

NEWCASTLE United goalkeeper Nick Pope wants to stay at St James' Park and play his part in next season's Champions League adventure.
The Magpies have had an enquiry from newly-promoted Leeds United, but the 33-year-old is happy on Tyneside and is not actively seeking a move. With two years left on his contract and in his peak goalkeeping years, Pope is ready to put up a fight for the number 1 spot.
