One a year ago, the other last Thursday. One from a privileged background with an income on the side as a landlord.
The other forced to relocate hundreds of miles to secure a permanent home for herself and her family. One a typical example of Starmer’s modern “Labour” party. The other a proud working class mam representing Reform UK.
Labour has changed. This could not have been better illustrated than by Rushanara Ali’s own actions. Acting as a landlord she evicted her tenant for no good reason, then re-advertised her property at a much higher rent.
