Overdose woman was in need of better care

A WOMAN died after an overdose in supported accommodation at Lynemouth, an inquest has heard.

Ann Marie Creagh, 63, died last November with alcohol and a range of drugs in her system. She was living at the Elaine House supported-accommodation site in the Northumberland town but waiting for a social-care placement more appropriate for her needs.
The death came within hours of leaving the premises for an unexplained period of under 20 minutes at around 5am on November 20 last year, the court heard.
The hearing at Northumberland Coroner's Court was told how just a week before her death Ms Creagh, pictured below, had spent a night homeless after breaching her tenancy agreement.
