Midfield a concern for Magpies, admits boss

NEWCASTLE United boss Eddie Howe has admitted he is concerned by the lack of numbers in his midfield engine room.
As things stand, Howe could kick off the new Premier League season with just three senior central midfielders plus Lewis Miley after selling Sean Longstaff to Leeds United and seeing Joe Willock’s start to the campaign curtailed due to a calf injury. Howe does also have youngsters such as Travis Hernes and Alfie Harrison to back up his senior men.
