Meet up to mark Armed Forces Day

NORTH Tyneside is set to mark Armed Forces Day 2025 with a meet up of cadets and a day of activities at Churchill Playing Fields in Monkseaton.

On Saturday, the Sea, Air, Royal Marine and Army cadets will all come together for the event, which includes both physical and mental challenges.
Starting at 10am, the programme includes an obstacle course, rowing machine challenges, first aid, tug of war, and memory-based games, designed to test the cadets' teamwork and practical skills.
