Manufacturer opens new base

A MANUFACTURER of liquid nitrogen generators is hoping for growth after opening a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in South Tyneside.

Noblegen Cryogenics, which had previously been based in Gateshead, has relocated to a 19,300 sq ft state-of-the-art facility at Boldon Business Park, bringing together its head office, design and UK manufacturing operations under one roof.

The move strengthens its alignment with parent company Peak International Group, which operates in more than 20 countries worldwide.

The base will initially house 20 members of staff but has capacity for a planned increase in staff numbers over the next 12 months, as part of Noblegen’s ongoing investment in the UK.
