STADE Briochin coach Guillaume Allanou was given behind the scenes access at Sunderland and he was mightily impressed by what he encountered.

Speaking to French publication Le Telegramme, Allanou revealed he spent a week in Sunderland as part of his BEPF coaching qualification.

The BEPF (Brevet d’Entraineur Professionnel de Football) is the highest professional football coaching qualification awarded in France by the French Football Federation. It's the equivalent of the UEFA Pro License.

Allanou immersed himself in Sun-derland along with other coaches who were also given privileged access.

‘They were able to observe all corners of the club under Régis Le Bris.
