A SUSPECT held on suspicion of preventing lawful and decent burial of a body is still under investigation four years on.

A probe into the rare crime was launched in August 2022, when police searched a business in Walker, Newcastle.
A man in his 20s was arrested. He was released on bail after being questioned on suspicion of preventing lawful and decent burial of a body.
