Halloween mask that I rapidly had to scrub off

I've been hallow-crafting for one month solid now and I'm totally over it. If I see one more pumpkin -whole, carved or otherwise - I'm going to scream. The colour orange can absolutely do one.

I've lost count of the amount of pumpkins we have had to purchase, gut and decorate, such are the many autumnal art projects we have undertaken to get us through the school holidays.

After a while, carving them got boring, so we started to adorn them in glitter and decorations instead.

Dear Reader, let me be clear: You must never do this.

There is a reason people take sharply bladed knives to pumpkins, rather than adhesive.

It is far safer.

During one particularly unfortunate gourd garnishing sesh, I managed to superglue one hand to the jack-o'-lantern, and the other to my kitchen table.
