Gidman steps up to new role with Durham

WILL Gidman has taken on another new role at Durham Cricket, with the club's former all-rounder appointed academy and pathway performance director.

Gidman steps up from his position as men’s lead batting coach to take on the newly-created position, which covers both the men’s and women's sides.

With club stalwart John Windows having stood down as men's academy director for health reasons, Gidman will oversee both talent pathways and will be joining Rachel Hopkins, female academy and pathway director in supporting the club's coaching.
