Feast for a week at a choice of area's best restaurants

NORTH Tyneside’s very own Restaurant Week is set to return in October with many of the area's favourite eateries already signing up.

People will be able to eat cuisine from around the world with some deals starting at just £15.

Restaurant Week is scheduled to take place between October 6 and 12 and has already been heralded as a boost to the local economy. Restaurants have until September 30 to sign up, which can done through the council's website.

The list of establishments taking part so far, along with their menu options, is as follows:

Pigalo's - £20-£25;

Turknaz - £20-£25;
